Looking back...

Ihaven't put a lot of pictures on here, and lets face it! That's why we love blogging is for the pictures!! So, here are some random pictures for your viewing pleasure!!

3 MORE DAYS TILL MY BIRTHDAY!! TUESDAY AUGUST 19TH!! :)

Well here I am...

I leave Seattle today...I have quite a few more feelings leaving than I had when I came. It's been a fun trip but it seems like a unrealistic trip without Abby. I went to the singles ward on Sunday. I'm still speechless about that. There was over a hundred single MEN. The ratio for guys to girls was like five guys per girl. There were four Sunday school classes and one RS class. The priesthood filled the chapel! It was really amazing! And yes, I did meet some new guys. They were all really nice and it is nice to have the reassurance that there are guys out there. I also went to a five stake FHE last night. Yep, speechless. It was fun. It really has been a fun experience coming out here. I'm ready to go home though. I miss Abby more than I can say. It was hard not having her here with me because she is who I am. I really have a hard time telling guys about her, and I usually just don't. I really don't want her to get hurt. That is something I really struggle with. But on the other hand she is who I am. It was nice to be able to talk to Mike and Rachel. I really miss not being able to be close to them. This really is hard.
Now, to the juicy stuff! Yes, I did have a date. Or at lease Mike and Rachel said it was a date. It was a lot of fun. His name is Jason. He's 30 and he works for Boeing. He was Mike's old roommate and I actually got to meet him at the wedding and I got to spend more time with him this trip out. Not as much as I wanted, but I did get to spend time with him. He is a very busy person. He works a lot and he has callings that keep him busy and hes just popular around here! Anyhoo, our "date" we went bowling!! I haven't been bowling since I was a teenager! It was actually a lot of fun. Rachel and I really felt we should have the bumper pads for Skyler's sake. ;) But the guys didn't really go for that for too long. Mike, Rachel and Skyler came with us for the first part then they had to get home and get Skyler in bed so Jason and I finished our game and then he had to go into work so he brought me home. It was a lot of fun. I got over a hundred my first game!! The second game Mike and Rachel left in the middle so I bowled for Rachel and Jason bowled for Mike and I scored a 84 and Rachel scored a 84! That was funny (or at least I thought so) Oooohhhh.....I don't even know what to say anymore! I wish I could make my home out here. I really am going to miss Jason and wish I could have spent more time. Life always gets in the way I guess.
I am ready to go home. I miss my own house and my Abby Loo. I want to be a mom again. We start a new chapter of our lives when I get home. She will be starting school and I start in a week. I still can't believe I'm not working! That just feels weird. I've had a job since the separation over two years ago. But I'm excited to be able to be a mom again. I really do miss that.
On a side note for those of you who need a friendly reminder my birthday is in 7 DAYS!! AUGUST 19TH!! Jason remembered when I talked to him lets see if he remembers when the day actually comes!! ;) TUESDAY, AUGUST 19TH, EXACTLY ONE WEEK FROM TODAY!!

I'm still here!

I have been told by some (KATHY) that its time for an update, and I'd have to say that I agree with her! So, here we go.....
I don't even remember where I left off. I guess I'll just start with the latest and the greatest. I am now on the unemployed list! That's right, I quit my job!! I did love it there and am missing it more than I can say but it was the right thing for me to do right now. I made the decision so that this next semester I can focus completely on school and Abby. It was really getting hard being a mom and working the hours I was working. I would leave before she was awake and when I got home it would be bed time two hours later, so I NEVER got to see or spend time with her. That was really getting hard. SO, I ultimately decided to quit and just do school and be a mom again. I'm terrified but excited. I am going to be using my grants and some student loans. I'm not too excited about that but it will all be ok. I have a 4.0 in school and I would really like to keep that as long as I can!
Speaking of school...I think I am once again going to change my major. I'm still really considering education. I am taking a business class and a accounting class this semester so we'll see how those go and I'm going to take a intro to education class next semester, hopefully that will help me make my decision. I really need to decide thought, I want to be finished with school!
Abby starts school next week!!! I can't believe it! Its crazy! I can't believe how big she is getting. I miss my baby! She is actually spending the week with her dad this week. He gets her for a whole week during the summer and he decided to take it now, and it is so hard. This is the longest I've ever been away from her and I'm missing her like crazy!! I talk to her everyday though and she's having a good time.
Speaking of a good time! Since Abby was going to be gone a whole week, I decided to take a little vacation...so I'm in Seattle!! I really miss not being close to Mike and Rachel and Skyler and I really wanted to be able to come and visit with them, so I said "why not!?" and here I am! Its been fun so far! It was a long flight but well worth it! Rachel and I are getting closer and Skyler loves his Auntie Miranda!! I love being a Aunt and a Sister in Law!! And a SISTER. I miss Mike SO much and I'm SO glad I get to spend time with him!! I really want to move out here to be closer to them! Especially now that I'm going to be a Aunt for the second time!!! YEP, that's right! They are expecting April 4, 2009! I am so excited for them and can't wait!!
Well there is a lot more detail to go into but I need to go get ready for my day! Sorry I don't have any pictures to post with this one, I have some on my camera but I'm not a home, so we'll have to wait till I get home.
