The good with the bad...

So I'll start with the good stuff! I started school and I'm enjoying it so far. I decided to drop one of my classes but I'm still full time. I'm taking four classes. All pretty good. I do have pictures of my first "days" of school but thats where some of the bad news comes in...I was checking my school email and I received a "greeting card" so I opened it and it was a virus. It wiped out my computer. I'm really sad about that. I hadn't backed up my 2008 pictures. I know, I know its totally my fault but I'm really sad about that. I'm taking it to a friend in my ward that works on computers and hopefully he can do something to save anything! I'm really upset about that. But I'll post more about school soon along with my pictures.

Time for an update!

There are so many things I want to talk about right now. I hope I can remember them all. I'll start with my school decision. So I was really struggling with what I want to major it. I always get a father's blessing before school starts and boy did it help!! Its official. I'm declared as an Education major. I completely changed my schedule and now I'm on the path for my Education Degree. Its going to be a LONG path but I'm excited about it and I feel really good about it. So now I'm taking 5 classes this semester, 15 credit hours!! FULL schedule. I'm nervous about that. One of my classes is a intro to teaching class and we actually only meet on Mondays but we are out in the field for 30 hours (i think she said 30 hrs). We do 15 for elementary and 15 for secondary. I'll be in New Albany and Louisville and surrounding area's. They want you to get a feel of all the age groups and all the situations, rural and suburban and things like that. I'm TERRIFIED about that but totally stoked!! So, on Monday's I have a math class then my intro to teaching class. Tuesdays and Thursdays I'm taking Econ, Hist, and a Science class. Then I have my math class also on Wednesdays. So I'll have Wednesday afternoon and Fridays to do my field work. I'm excited. My classes don't start till 11 so I'll be able to take Abby to school! Plus I'll be able to come home during the day for a little bit, unless I have a TON of homework then I'll just go to the library! But, yeah I'm excited and feel much better about my educational future. I'm ready to start. I'm excited about where things are headed! I'm making new goals for myself and working on growing in so many ways!!

Well, there was one other thing I was going to talk about but I really can't remember it. So, sorry. I guess I'll just leave you with some old pictures of the past. Today was just an odd day.

I hope everyone is doing WONDERFULLY and remembering to SMILE!!! Here are a few things that make me smile. :)
(or maybe not, its having troubles loading pictures tonight. I'll try later)

Birthday

I had a good birthday. The big 2-4! It really is hard to believe I made it this far! And look where I am! I actually really enjoyed my birthday, I've really had a chance to look back and see where I came from. I'm proud of myself and where I am and where I am headed. I cant' imagine making it this far without the love and support of so many friends! Thank you to all those who called or wrote a note wishing me a happy birthday, It really meant a lot!! Thanks to those who sang!! I got a great note from an old friend that really made my day. It was more than words! ;) I just want them to know, "Thank You! Good Game!!" I know I could have not be who I am or where I am without my family. I love them so much and am so glad that I was chosen to come to them. I've been thinking a lot about my birth mom lately and what she had to go through for me to have the life I have today, and I just want her to know, where ever she is, how much I truly love her for the sacrifices that she has made for me to be here today. I love my parents! They do WAY more for me than I deserve and I'm truly grateful for them every day. My brother....my brother, where to begin. We we close as kids and grew apart, very far apart as teenagers and now I'd consider him my best buddy! I love Mike, he is such a good guy and I'm thankful for all he has taught me and for the incredible example he is to me today! Mostly, I am SO grateful for a Father in Heaven who loves me unconditionally!! I....really don't' even know what to say. I love him and wouldn't be anything without him. I know he has a plan for me and I'm excited about the future!!
Enough of the mushy stuff!! Lets get to the fun pictures!!!

Here are some birthday pictures and some random pictures taken lately.

School

These are her second and third days of school. She is acting so grown-up!

I can't believe this!!

You Are Mulan!

Strong and spirited. You're no one's girly girl; actually you are very determined person with a strong sense of self. Never let go of that! The only thing that equals your sense of self is your family, but the traditions of society can always be bent to protect something or someone you love.

Which Disney Princess Are You?

So, not true!! ;)

Abby's first day of school

This drives me crazy! How do you get them side by side!? Anyhoo, these are the first day. I've got some of her second day, her third day, her fourth day....you get the idea! I've also got birthday pictures to post, but I actually have to get ready to go get Abby so you'll have to have the anticipation for those!! :)
