Looking at my pictures, I have hundreds from gingerbread houses and Christmas!! We made gingerbread three times this month!! It will take me a few days to pick the ones to put up!

Well, Mike and Rachel and Skyler got in safely last night. When they were supposed to be here yesterday morning!! I am so frustrated with airline companies!!! The de-icer broke in Seattle so they were not able to de-ice the planes fast enough so they just canceled their flight and then they could not find them a connecting flight to Louisville so they just flew them to Cincinnati and we went and picked them up there! First of all, Airlines jack up their prices, you CANNOT plan on a normal flight, and when THEY do mess up your flight, what do they give ya, NOTHING! It makes me so FRUSTRATED!! (i could go on, but it makes me too mad!)
Well there is an update in my dating life! Johnathan and I talked last night and both decided there won't be a second date. He is interested in someone who is a non-member and I told him that I didn't want to be someones seconds. He's a GREAT guy and I really do love hanging out with him! We have fun!! I want to date with the thought there could be a possibility of something more and I can't do that with him. His non-member friend did come to church on Sunday!! How could you not feel the spirit on the Sunday before Christmas!?! He said she had a good time! So thats the latest with that. Kind of bummed but it's all good. He's an awesome guy and I hope him the best!
I DO have pictures but they aren't uploaded yet. We are doing gingerbread houses tonight so I'll take some more and my next update will be pictures!!

Weekend...

Well, I had my "date". It was a lot of fun. He's a awesome guy! His name is Johnathan Pritchard and he's from Jeffersonville Ward. We went and saw Australia then went on a picnic. Yes a picnic outside and it was fun! We took blankets and really got to know each other better. It was a really good time. We'll see how it goes! ;)
Today was a busy day and I don't feel like I got anything accomplished! I hate those kinds of days! I woke up and work on Christmas stuff with my Mom. Then I went and saw Twilight (yes for the third time) and I think I'm all Twilighted out. I've always got time for Edward but the movie seemed kind of long this time. Then we went to dinner and met up with Jen and went shopping and I got a few things, not everything but a few! ;) Then I took Morgan home and Jen and I got some hot chocolate and went to Wal-Mart! I love our midnight trips to Wal-Mart! It was fun and great company! I truly do have awesome friends, each one of them helps me in a different way. I love it!
I have decided (well my mom told me I should) to go to Utah for spring break. It will be nice to see family. I miss them! I have a free ticket I need to use soon, so she said to do that. I'm excited. It will be nice to escape to Utah. That's where I go to get rejuvenated for life!
I have decided to have all the young singles over to make gingerbread houses! It will be fun to be with friends!! We always have a good time! ;)

I got asked out on a date! Friday! Wish me luck! I'm terrified, it's been a while! ;)

Twlight

I have to admit that I've been sucked into the Twilight craz! I've seen the movie twice and yes, I'm in LOVE! I'm reading the books but I can't completely devote myself till my English class is done (we're reading Moby Dick) I am planning on seeing it again this weekend! For those of you who didn't know, Edward can sing too! On the soundtrack he sings one of the songs!! WOW!
(I do know the book does not have the best morals, but it's a great love story! Forbidden Love!!)

So, I got in trouble in church today (again) for not updating. ;) So I told Kathy I would today and since it's almost tomorrow I figured I should get busy!! (a good excuse to take a break from homework!)

Lets see...where did I leave off...
I think last time we spoke Abby was in Utah at my grandma's 90th birthday. Well she's home now and had a great time! I think it was a little long, but she made it. (for those of you reading this that are family members, someone better post some pictures of the party!! My mom didn't take any, I want to see how gingerbread went!! ;))
November was a CRAZY month!! First Abby was sick with the Flu/Strep thingy then she went to Utah then when she got home on Wednesday night she went to her dad's that Friday. When she got home Sunday she was ok, pretty exhausted but on Monday she was sick again. She threw up all day Monday and was recovering on Tuesday then went back to her dad's Wednesday night for Thanksgiving. SO for the month of November she went to school a total of maybe a week! I'm ready to get back on a regular schedule!!! We won't be till next year though. We have two weeks in December where things are normal schedule with her visiting her dad, but we are SO busy those two weeks! I have finals, we have church stuff, Christmas things....Our calender is full!!
Lets see, what else is new. While Abby was away I played! I got to go to a Young Single Adult concert in Lexington. That was fun. I made some new friends and met a Mormon Rapper!! (a cute one at that!) I also got the opportunity to listen to an apostle of the Lord. Elder Richard G. Scott. That was pretty awesome!! Of course he talked about marriage. It was a YSA group he was talking too. ;) For those of you who are unaware we are currently having a drought in the male/female dating situation in the area right now. It's been going on for a while. The guys aren't asking. We've had many general authorities come and speak to us, but my feelings are that we can have hundreds of people come and talk to us, even the prophet but what it really comes down to is US. The guys are the ones who are going to have to make the decision to ask, no one can make them. I do sympathize with them though. It's a big responsibility, first to ask a girl out, then take her out. Plus the whole idea of marriage. Being responsible for taking care of your family, its a big load. But the Lord won't give us anything that he knows we can't handle!....with that said...I am ready to date! That doesn't mean I want anything serious, I still want to take care of a lot of things for myself, but it wouldn't hurt to know that dating is an option! ;) But in the mean time, I get a chance to focus on school!
School...I have finals this week and next. I'm done on December 9Th! SO STOKED! I don't go back till January 12Th (i think) I'm SO ready for the break!! I am taking five classes next semester, 15hrs. It should be fun!!

Christmas!! Mike is coming soon and I really can't wait!! I'm so excited to have him back home. I miss him so much. I really don't think he knows how much our relationship means to me! Plus I get to see my nephew, Skyler and my totally awesome sister-in-law Rachel who will be 5 months prego, with my niece Brooklyn Jade!!!!!!!!! :) I really can't wait. It will be a little hard because Abby won't be home too much during that time. She gets to spend quite a bit of time with her dad. Mike is staying for two weeks and I think Abby is only going to be here for about six days of that. But that's ok. We will have fun with the time we have! Always do!!
Lastly, I really want to thank all my WONDERFUL friends!! I've been struggling quite a bit and quite a few of you have helped me in more ways than I can tell you. I really do love you all!!
I love the gospel in my life! I am grateful for wonderful family and friends and most of all for the atonement and the love I feel from my father in heaven. There really isn't anything better. I know he's always there for me and I want to thank him for bring such awesome people into my life!!

quick update...

The next eight days are sad days for me. Abby is in Utah with my mom celebrating my grandma's 90th birthday! When I was a kid I only had a couple of opportunities to travel to Utah and visit with family. ALL of my family is out in Utah. Everyone on my mom's side and dad's side (give or take a few). So, I wanted Abby to be able to visit with them as much as she could and especially her great-grandma, since she is turning 90!! So she's out there till next Wednesday having a blast!! Her and my mom always do!! It's kind of nice, it gives me a chance to get a lot of my homework done...like two papers and a econ project! But I miss her dearly and can't wait for her to come home!! But I'm glad she got to go and PARTY!! (my family members are party animals!!!) ;)
