Whats new with me....

Well here's the latest and greatest with me. Work. I am working as much as I can. Saturday I worked 13 hours!! I worked from open to close. The closing cashier called in so I offered to stay. Abby was with Sam and work is just a safe place for me to be right now. There's really not too many happy things going on in my life right now and I don't want to dwell on the bad things so this is probably going to be short. You know how your always asked "Where do you see yourself in five or ten years?" Never in a million years would I have seen myself where I am today. Spiritually, Physically or Mentally. I don't know how I do it or what I do, but I seem to attract the bad ones. Not just guys but friends also. I had a really close friend at work and they hurt me so badly! Friends from church too. I got yelled at by a "friend" for not hanging out with him. We don't talk too much anymore. I was having a really good month and I don't know what happened. Its so strange. I feel so lost and alone but on the other hand I feel so loved. I know I'm a daughter of God and that he loves me unconditionally! He is always there for me and will never break my heart! I know he is preparing someone for me to marry right now! And I know he is going to be an incredible person! (he better be for all I'm going through to find him!) When I feel like I can't even take another second of another day I think of Jesus in the garden of Gethsemane. That brings me so much comfort. Knowing that even when he felt completely alone, he wasn't. Its just a really hard time right, but I know I'll get through it. Tomorrow will come...

My little artist...

Abby was taking a shower the other night and I went in to check on her and she was drawing pictures of me! It was so cute how she drew them! I hope she gets artistic style from my mom. It does skip a generation so its her turn!

Easter

She was actually very excited about easter this year! It was a crazy week. I finally got all her birthday stuff done and realized that easter was three days away!! I didn't have a dress or anything for her! So Saturday before work we were on the hunt for a dress and I could not find one! I finally went to Costco and got one there and made it back just in time to go to work and had to get everything else on my lunch break. But it all turned out good. We went to church and they sang happy birthday to her! I was so proud of her for going up to the front! She is doing so good in primary now! So she got birthday stickers and Sis. Jones did sharing time and did an awesome job! Abby loved it! She even went to the front and helped her teacher (she held a picture i think) My little baby's growin up! :( Then we came home and she wanted to do an easter egg hunt right away! She and grandma and grandpa colored eggs the night before (i of course was at work) So we went outside and hid them and then she came and found them (usually how the whole easter egg hunt thing works) then we came back inside and she wanted to do her carrot. In out family we do things a little different. Growing up my mom hated the fake grass!! And she being as creative as she is came up with an alternative. She made us carrots made out of fabric. They are about the same size as an easter basket meaning you can fit just as much stuff in it as you can an easter basket. Then my parents would hide it in the house and Mike and I would go to our rooms and then they would make a jelly bean trail to our carrot. It was always alot of fun. We have traditions like that for every holiday! I love it, I'm so excited to do them for my family! I love them!! Anyway so we did Abby's carrot then had a nice dinner and just spent the rest of the day together. It was really nice. (I got a new video camera so I do that and my dad does the pics so most of them of me are me holding the video camera)

Birthday

So I finally got birthday pictures on my computer. Well Abby had a good birthday. On Tuesday (her actual birthday) we had a family dinner and she got to choose what she wanted to have for dinner. We had ABC soup and grape juice and some fruit. It was fun then she did her cake and ice cream. Then on thursday she had some friends over and we had a small party. She really wanted a pinata so we did that and they played dress up and made crowns. She had a really good time. She got a huge princess book from grandma and grandpa. Its got cut outs and different outfits and lots of fun stories. She had a really good time, so I think it was a huge success!! (you'll notice shes not wearing clothes, i can't keep clothes on the child if i super glued them to her

In need of help!

So believe it or not Abby's turning 4 in two weeks!!! I can't believe it! 4 years old!! I remember when she was a baby and I thought I would never get two hours of sleep in a row. Now shes going to start school! Man how time flies!
So she wants to have a princess party. I'm really not that creative so I need some ideas....

I've been told that I need to update this more often. So here's the latest and greatest. I can never think of anything new that has happened to me! There was a young single activity and I meet some new people there and I've been talking to them for the past few weeks. They are actually brothers. Mike and Ben Seal. Cool guys. One night the three of us went to Sams Club then to dinner. It was actually alot of fun. Who doesn't love Sams Club?!

We did just have a pretty big snow blizzard! (big for the area) I grew up in upstate NY. Nothing lower than the top of the garage is that big of a deal. ;) That was fun. I went to work on Friday and Saturday and on Friday we closed early and I worked 11 hrs Saturday and we were dead all day and we also closed early Saturday. Friday night after work I went to a movie with Brad, Derek, and Kayle. That was fun. We went and saw Vantage Point. Pretty good movie! When we got out of the movie, Kathy called and Floyd County was in a state of emergency and only emergency vehicles were supposed to be out. It was funny driving home, I didn't see any emergency vehicles out! Just regular Joe's!

I got a new camcorder. Sam and I had one but I let him keep it. But I decided I wanted to get another one so I can start recording more of Abby. Birthdays, School stuff like that.

I'm excited for this coming weekend! I'm working more during the week so I get Saturday off and Abby's with Sam! Ben wants to get a group and go do laser tag! We'll see what we end up doing though.

Everythings a GO for IUS in the fall. There's something new! I got on the chancellors list for Ivy Tech!! I'm way proud of that! Thats going in a frame and on the wall!! I got a certificate and everything!!
